Compress JPG, PNG and WebP images without losing clarity
Large photos slow down uploads and fill up email limits. The image compressor lowers the file size while keeping the picture looking natural, which helps with application portals, websites and messaging apps.
Photos compress well as JPG or WebP; screenshots and logos are better as PNG. Aim for the smallest size that still looks sharp when you zoom in, and keep your original file as a backup.

Questions
Why don’t some images get smaller?
Images that are already compressed may not shrink further. When that happens we give you the original file unchanged.
Why don’t PNG images shrink much?
PNG is a lossless format. For much smaller files, set the output format to WebP or JPG.
What happens to the photo’s location data?
Re-saved images no longer contain location (GPS) or other hidden photo data.
How can I get an image under 100 KB?
Lower the quality setting and, if needed, reduce the width and height. Phone photos are often far larger than any form needs.
Are my pictures sent to a server?
No. Compression runs in your browser, so the files stay on your device.
